were you fat or skinny before you got involved in bodybuilding?

i was 6'1" and 155lbs before i started lifting

after years of training i am a jacked 170lbs.

j/k im 200lbs and i have been as high as 220

280 3 years ago actually when i signed on to elite i was hovering 280ish now 3 years later 198ish summer 230ish winter..life is good

I am 6'1 and weighed 145lbs 2 years ago (all the 'e' I took at the time probably did not help things). I am now 195lbs 10%BF, hoping to crack the 200' mark soon and stay there.

4 years ago I was 240 lbs 35% bf with a 44" waist. I lived on pizza, spegetti, ice cream and dr. pepper (no joke these were my 4 basic food groups).

Anywho, I've been as low as 4% (172 lbs) at contest time, and currently am about 9% bf fluxuating between 220 and 225.

Looking at out posts here, it goes to show you that no matter where you start, you can eventually have am impressive physique if you truely want it bad enough.

... and please no one go "Ummm you don't look like you are 225 in your avatar." It makes you sound very stupid. Technology has not evolved to the point where photographs taken change to match what the person now looks like. Have you ever seen a photo of JFK taken when he was alive that now looks like a skeleton with part of its skull missing?

Hmmm

I was a figure skater the very first time I started and I was pretty solid and lanky at the time but I must say I lived on skittles - no joke - bags of skittles.

I had been in a car accident 5 or so years later and went from 30 hours a week of skating to no activity at all - and I did pork out quite a bit. Then after feeling sorry for myself for a long period of time I went back into the weight lifting on a more consistent basis and peeled off the extra weight rather quickly.

Now I just have a good 15-20lb range I stay in at any given time.
