I just haven't been able to get my body fat down despite eating clean and training. I'm one of those skinny fat people. I wear a size 2 but I probably have about 25% body fat. My trainer finally sent me to another women who is a trainer friend of his who apparently knows everything about women and women's bodies.
She took a look at my diet and thinks that the reason I can't get my body fat down is because I don't have enough healthy fat in my diet. That's a new one to me. I eat a tbsp of ANTB in the morning and then 15 almonds in the afternoon. She told me I also need to add 1 tbsp of flaxseed oil at night. I'm going to give it a shot and see if that helps. She also told me to add more veggies and another serving of lower-sugar fruit (tend to stay away from this now). I forgot to ask her about times of when to eat though. But this is my plan as of now. :
7:45am
1/2 cup oatmeal (150 cals, 25 g carbs, 4 g protein)
1 cup carb countdown milk (70 cals, 3g carbs, 12 g protein)
1 tbsp ANTP (90 cals, 4 g protein, 8g fat)
10am
1 scoop whey powder with water (120 cals, 17g protein)
10 strawberries
Noon
2 slices sprouted whole wheat bread (160 cals, 8g protein, 36g carbs)
6 oz grilled chicken
Small salad with light dressing (40 cals)
3pm
15 almonds (should I up this to a full oz, which I think is 30 almonds)
1 small apple (what other fruit can I eat?)
6pm
1 cup salad with light dressing
1 small can of tuna
1 tbsp of flaxseed oil
9pm
1 cup salad with light dressing
1 small can of tuna or lite tofu
(any other suggestions for this meal?)
She also told me that my body may not be reacting well to dairy so to cut out cottage cheese, but I can leave the cup of milk in. Also commented to move the whey shake earlier in the day since it may be causing me to hold on to water when I have it later at night. I don't eat eggs, so that elminates a lot of options too.
