well here i am in october (hallowen actually) i am 210 lbs 5'4 39% bf i'm now going to find a work in progress pic and post that one

here is me and my husband in feb. here i am now 155 lb. 23%bf, i haven't found any of me now, that are appropiate to post so i'll have to take some new ones but you can at least see what i started with! and all you other ladies thought you had it bad. see you could have been busting out of a size 18 jeans like i was in the first pic! I now wear an 8 (sometimes a 10 if i'm retaining alot of water like before my period) sooo, I will get some new ones done soon you I can show you all.

WOW what progress!!! you must be so proud of yourself... i have the utmost respect for those who can make this type of transformation... i can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be... i've been 'bigger' myself and i know how hard it was to get where i am, how much time, effort, work and tears went into it... (i was only 150ish at my biggest, so all i can say when i see this kinda stuff is WOW!!)

keep up the excellent work, you'll get there...

thank you very much. and those are 2 of my kiddies in the first pic. well the boy is my step son and the little girl is one of mine. i have 2 kids. both girls born 16 months apart. i am also 25. just a little back ground on me. I have been around this board awhile just haven't posted much, but I've been watching you all and i can say the board is still wonderful!

I called the hubby he says he'll give me a hand later to take some pics. now I actually have some bicep definition hopefully by Xmas I will be closer to my idea of a nice body. legs are FAR from nice, this is my area that needs the most work hips and thighs.. I got birthin' hips as my hubby lovingly told me one day. I think he meant it in a nice way but I wasn't really to happy with that comment! LOL but he's not American he's english so sometimes I have to cut him a little slack!

Be so proud of yourself!

Awesome transformation! Like Phem said: I have nothing but overwhelming respect for women who make such a big decision and carry it out. So great!:wavey:

thank you all for the nice words of encouragment! I will take some more pics when i come home from work tonight and i'll try and get 'em up after that.

flex, i swear it's me!!!! I wish i could say that it wasn't but yup, i really let myself go. I didn't always look that bad, I have always been heavy but that was the extreme.

AWESOME!!!! Major progress girl! Keep going......keep those pics as motivators for ya...Keep setting goals and keep at it:)

Girl - in that second pic you don't look A DAY over 16! I swear!!!

I know how hard it is to try and get some kind of figure after children. Not only because of how pregnancy ravages your body, but because of the added responsibility and stress of family life! Your transformation is inspirational to us all - KEEP IT UP! I know that there are days when you feel like you've taken two steps forward and one step back, but that's OK. This is about LIFE CHANGES, not fad diet and "exercise routines". We are all about getting stronger, smarter, healthier and improving the quality of our lives!

I can't applaud loudly enough! I am waiting anxiously to see more recent pics.....

Thank you for inviting us along on your successful journey. We'll be here when you're down too, but it is so nice to hear and see good news....keeps us all going back to the gym!! :)

thanks everybody for your sweet words. and b-mom i'm a little older than 16! I am blessed with a young looking mom so i hope i will retain a youthful appearance for quite some time! I feel a hell of a lot older than 25 sometimes!
otc- i loved that dress it was long and had a slit up the side. I felt like i looked pretty darn good that night!

Wow! thanks for having the ummm...ovaries to post those cowgirl! I can relate as well: I went from being in triathalon shape last spring to putting on nearly 35 pounds due to a lung illness last year.(I've since taken in off and dropped my BF by 15% and started to get some nuce cits)...I know how HARD you have to work to take the weight off, so congratulations, and keep us all posted. You look great! The women on this board are so cool and dedicated and supportive.

Hey Blue...

Came back over to visit here (my original board) when I saw the postt about your pic being up here... Fabulous job! I can completely relate! I was at 225 a year and a half ago and I know what kind of work it takes and how good it feels!! Your doing fantastic!!

You GO Girl!

I have a friend who is at 245lbs (she won't have her bf% checked). She has her days where she says, "I just can't do it. I'm too far gone. I'll never be able to lose more than 20 pounds, etc.. etc..." YOU just proved her wrong! Congratulations..you look wonderful!

oh man! you guys are too funny! I have been sick for a while now, actually since June. I was suffering from severe debilitating headaches and severe fatigue and then to top it off I started to have HORRIBLE joint pain. I had every test in the book and the finally came upon the diagnosis of fibromyalgia, so my progress has been kinda stuck. nothing too bad no rebound fat ass creeping up but nothing extraordinary. hell there was a few weeks there that I was lucky I got out of the bed! but I am on the road to recovery well so to speak. I am now trying some new methods of treating this disease. belive it or not they think this might be caused (well one of the causes) is a screwy thyroid. so now that I am feeling a little more human I am ready to kick some ass in the gym. I am also having some trouble here at home (with my husband) so I need to get to the gym before I beat him bloody!. gotta work off this excess anger. but I do promise that I will let you see my progress.

I do read all of your posts and I think you all are hysterical! my fingers have been hurting so bad that posting is a difficulty. damn I feel soooo old some days! I'm only 25 and I feel like my grandma!
oh and ps spatts I think you were the one that mentioned the steamer for food. well that thing rocks! I love it!!!

I can't belive I missed this the first time. What an awesome and insprirational transformation! You should be proud!

You look great.. keep up the work, you have a very pretty face and soon a very sexy body to go with it!

That's what a call a transformation, truly amazing !
Do you realize how many people you have inspired:)
There's no stoping you now girl.

That's really awful about your diagnosis. Am I correct in thinking that this is not a treatable condition, but more an issue of symptom management? Make sure you keep a good support network---all those people who love you and can keep you going are really important and should help keep you out of the dumps.

Now we are going to want your updates even more....don't have to be long, just enough to let us know you're still kickin' :)

yeah it's really not a "cureable" thing it's more of a symtom by symptom managment. my mother has the same thing thats how we came up with the diagnosis so fast. i watched my mom go through all the tests and knew what to expect and what to ask for. but i am hoping that there is going to be a new breakthrough for this. the worst part of it is, that you ache all over. but you find things that make you feel better and thats what i'm doing now. Now if i can just get the sitch with my husband straightned out i would be doing much better!

Good luck with that :worried:

What area of NY, if you don't mind? I'm a NYer myself....just moved to the wine region last month. :arty:
