As some of you know, I've been plagued by injury and personal problems for the past year. First my shoulder and then my forearm. I'm glad to say that I'm going to be able to start training again but restricted from doing anything that involves me squeezing anything too hard with my right hand. When I first hurt myself, I tried to train through it but that actually made things worse. I feel good enough now to start to do some kind of training besides sprints and cardio. I feel like shit and probably look like it too. All I can say is that I'm going to try hard as hell to get myself to the physique that I know I should be at right now. Thanks for the time brothers.
 
same fn boat bro,

shattered my hand bouncing, my hand a kids skull, 7 pumches later I shattered 2 bones badly.

So far I am in week three and a half of not training. I had surgery and the full arm cast comes off tomm. we hope. But still 5 more good weeks of no upperbody, unless I push it with hooks.

either way I look foward to the day you are at.

come back slowly to training bro.. I had a hand/shoulder problem last year and it's the best advice I can give you

Damn bro I knew you had injuries and problems and shit but I didn't know you stopped training completely. :( Haven't chilled with you in a while too bro hope you get back to what you were. Well actually I KNOW you will and then some. Glad to have you back training bro. Then in Spring you can try my long cycle out. hehehehe. :D

Hey bro :) good to see you back havent seen you here for a while or on the net...shit bro that sucks..iv ehad same problems...personal shit soemtime i knwo the feeling you cnat even train at times jsut not motivated..good to see u got thru it...as far as injuries...damn bro that sucks..i got a shoudler rotator cuf injury too now and i jsut got backl to training shoudlers & chest which i havent in asucxh a long time.. also geting back int oit slowly..and gona hit up prolotherapy..to speed up the ehaling process.... this bb years been bad for a lot of peeps i kno includin gmsyelf..but we got to move ahead..and bonc back bro.. Pm me with your new handle on the net bro peace :)

welcome back bro,

my advise......

dont be afraid to train light. i came back from a couple of injuries and wanted to be careful so i used light weight and did my reps nice and slow with perfect form. i ended up making some great gains as my body re-adjusted to the work i was putting on it and avoided any serious injury.

hehe....sometimes you'll get some stares though. im a pretty muscular guy so when people see me using weight that low they dont know what to make of it. of course if your doing your reps REAL slow then people just think your doing concentration sets.

This is one thing Ive never understood. Why when people fight do they end up doing more damage to themselves than the opponent? One shot to the neck or knee and the guy is done, no need to fuck up your hand for life.
 
Thanks a lot brothers! I took some of your advice and trained light (very light) today. Started off with Chest.0 135 all the way threw. 5 sets of 15 and then just finished off with pec deck 80x10reps for 3. I couldn't believe how much of pump I got. I love that feeling but I hated to only do 135. I'll probably do this next week and then throw in some dumbell presses. Tomorrow is back.

and everyone questions me when i shoot down to wrestle someone into a chokehold or an arm bar or what not, instead of throwing a punch. i think its a helluva instinct to have. hard to get hurt that way. a kick to the knee works too though....lol...:D

don't worry about the weight you use bro..you'll come backstronger in a few months, but now take time to recover properly.

A bar or party situation, in my mind, is a bad time to sit and pummel someones face. If they take a swing im going to end it as fast as I can so I can be prepared for any possible additional assailents. The qucik end can come in many forms, attack the eyes, throat, knees or what have you but if the guy is still standing and holding my attention after the first 5 seconds, its been too long. Granted, some people are damn ugly but there faces usually are the least of my worries, its their hands and feet im more worried about and a person can attack an arm or leg with a lot less force and do a lot more damage than if striking to the head and in turn risking less damage to ourselves as well.
