I am 6'1 170 and almost 30. I used to work out religously, but in the past 2-3 years I have been struggling balancing my schedule to work out and have honestly just been off and on and going through the motions.
Recently (about 2 months ago) I really got back into it! I have always roamed message boards and tried to educate myself and train properly. I have been doing a workout routine training 3x per week and compound movements only. HIIT 2-3x per week on non-training days. I have been getting stronger than I have been in a while and feeling good.
Then all of a sudden Monday last week, I have this pain in both shoulders especially when doing bench or dips and also when doing pullups. I have the pain in both shoulders and its not like an injury pain, but more like an overtraining pain. It only hurts during the sets and a minute or two after. I had this pain even with light weight warming up and sure couldnt lift heavy. So I stopped and went home, waited a few days and went back and the same freaking thing. I quit and didnt workout that day once again. Well I chalked it up too overtraining once again and waited a week and the same freaking thing today. I had to quit.
Its weird because it doesnt hurt when doing normal activities, but let me start lifting some weights (not even heavy) and the pain seemed worsr today than the first time I felt it.
I don't know what to do.
