weird gyno tests?

I went to the dr. to get my gyno checked out, he mentioned test treatment but had to do some tests first.(test levels, pituitary MRI, Testicular US, and GNRH test). Now he says he is talking my other doctor into telling me to go through surgery but first he has to run two more tests, semen analysis and bone density. Any one that went through gyno surgery before have any idea why they are performing these two extra tests, are they just trying to squeeze more out of my insurance? or do they do this before surgery.

I didn't mention nor did they mention anything about gear, as far as they know, its natural
