Wearing Shoes in the House

my 1880's home has recently sanded and varnished heart of pine origional floors.

NOBODY scuffs these awesome floors up with their shoes..much less high heels...and dogs/cats stay outside.

I do not where outside shoes in my house.. I have a pair of addidas sandals I wear inside (house shoes) and dont bring outside.

Rnch. my grandmother had pine and oak floors like that and they were beatiful... you cannot get those anymore.....

u spend 2 years and every penny u have and can borrow renovating an awesome old 1882 side hall, double parlor victorian home, with 12 foot ceilings, 4 fireplaces with the origional cast iron summer covers, crown mouldings, floor to ceiling windows with cypress louvered shutters, 4 piece baseboards and heart of pine floors and you WILL become anal retenitive posessive about it!
