One hijacked airliner was purposely shot down
RUMOR: "I heard on the radio that the plane in Pennsylvania was shot down because it wasn't responding to radio calls, but can't get c/d on any of the TV stations."
STATUS: False; denied by the Pentagon.

Don't think so.
Eyewitnesses say they saw the plane fly low overhead, then dip at a 45-degree angle before crashing nosefirst into the ground. None of them report seeing smoke, fire, or ANY other planes (especially fighters) in the area.
I say those U.S. boys ganged up on the hijackers and the hijackers paniced and crashed the plane, or they lost control and it crashed.

then why are there two debris fields six miles apart? Something smells real funny about this, expecially since the inital wreckage site was so small and they still couldn't find the black box.
Don't believe everything you see on CNN, they've already stopped covering the car bombings and other fires, are refusing to address the causes of the attacks and the rioting going on, and are editing their commentaries.

what information do you have that there are 2 debris fields? Where's your fucking proof?
And don't you think that if there are 2 debris fields, the aircraft could have broken up on it's own during high stress manuvers at high altitude.

Calm down bro. What I wrote is true so far as has been reported on all major international networks, not just the US ones. Its a serious question, because if both fields of wreckage are from the same plane then it was either a bomb, a missile, or it broke up because of extreme maneuvers (sp?)..... but of course in any of these cases there would be much larger pieces of debris scattered over a very large area, not two small concentrated areas..... like I said, something seems strange here, all we can do is wait.

BigPBastard hit it right on. Also the president took alittle heat for not going right back to the white house immediatly(I wouldn't have either). And when asked why, the media was told that Airforce One was a target. If you notice the media just won't let up on where that info came from. I could not imagine any terrerist even thinking of getting close to air force one with the types of planes they hijacked. It would never happen and they know that.
the 15s and 16s were flying combat patrol missions over our major cities with orders to escort and/or fire on any planes that deviated from their flight plan or did not respond to radio. That is a fact that i got from a close friend flying the mission over LAX. My gut feeling is that the Penn plane was shot down, but who cares, cause if it was that was the right decision.
