loloo
I cant stand Macs
they SUCK
Meh. You get used to the people who are outspoken, but not experienced. It's as if I started talking about how shitty Omega's Project is...without every actually trying it.You probably never owned one either, right? Like 99% of everyone else that says they don't like them. LOL!

Have you tried the new ones with the battery life? I've been trying a few laptops over the past few months to replace my work laptop. I'm afraid that the PC ones don't have a good mix of performance, speed, and the price point They've got one or the other, but not both in the same package.
I had good hopes for the SU7300 chipset. Ah well, I figure that we'll try again next year.
I played with them a little at the mac store. Don't own one the. I just picked up the new 27" imac. I really like it.
My cousin has one of the new macbooks and he has nothing but great things to say about it.
I'm about 85% converted to this X200 tablet + Windows 7 now. It's not bad. Being asked if I want to run this or that program is annoying. I still don't have an anti-virus program yet either, so I get new messages daily from some "Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox" about how at-risk my computer is.
My dell M6400 laptop is still a total pain in the ass. Dell puts all those proprietary utilities like "ConnectionPoint" that overrides default Windows functions (i.e. wireles networking and power management).
lol!
Funny thing is...If I did a quick search I could probably find 100's if not 1000's of posts from you talking about how bad macs are.
Lol ortiz must be a mac user in denial
I don't hate macs
I hate the people who say how awesome they are and you ask why and they have no answer. Plus you are paying waaaaay too much, when you can build a custom quad system that would rip and MACs face off
you hate them, don't lie!
okay, here's what I like about my mac.
1.) fast
2.) Awesome picture (high res)
3.) Photoshop cs4 is 100x better than cs4 on PC
4.) no spyware/viruses
5.) it looks cool (yeah, I said it)
6.) all in one (less clutter)
7.) Upgradeable (a lot of all in ones aren't)
8.) The interface with mac is just plain awesome

When you think about how much time, money, energy, and lost productivity is tied to that issue in Windows PC boxes, that's a GIANT advantage. I use only Ubuntu on my personal laptop (Suse before that) and I never had to worry about any of that stupid shit.
This is the problem with PC's, and something the new Windows stores should be looking at correcting themselves. All these dumbass PC vendors (Dell, Gateway, HP, etc.) dump all this useless bullshit onto their rigs because of some half-assed deal with all those software makers and it completely fucks up the PC experience.
PC's should be made to order piece by piece, by at least someone who knows what the fuck they're talking about.
And on a side note, I always thought it was kinda ironic that Microsoft allows such freedom on Windows PC's as far as software/hardware configurations go, but their philosophy with Xbox runs virtually parallel to that of Apple. Make a closed box system with a bunch of proprietary add ons and charge people a premium markup for them.
That is awesome I have always been a big thinkpad fan. Are you looking for AV for business or for personal use.
Clearly, you are looking for something different then others. So, what works for you; doesn't work for others.I don't hate macs

What's the battery life of the laptop? I looked at the x200 but was fearful of the battery and I've always disliked tablets.I'm about 85% converted to this X200 tablet + Windows 7 now. It's not bad. The Timeline isn't all it's cracked up to be. The key problem that I found with it is the processor. The SU4100 and the SU7300 are crap if you're trying to do alot of graphics and flash work. I never tried the U9400, but I figure that it couldn't be as good as the T8750 (my old laptop). The problem with the T8750 is the 1 - 2 hours of battery life.Acer makes nice aluminum laptop that supp. gets 8 hrs of battery life.
All you mac fanatics need to chillax, I never said they were POS.
Peace to your bumcrease
