It was the only option available. The gun was out of question. You don'T want to end up in court for shooting an unarmed hoe and your PD doesnt want to be served with a million dollard lawsuit. Since they had the Tazer, my guess is they didnt have OC Spray but spray is shit anyway. Baton is an option when you have enough room to work with. Same for the flashlight. Bare hands ? Might work but again, that's another lawsuit magnet.

It would be far better to take the girl down through physical tactics (arm bars, joint locks, etc.) Rather than a taser. At the county jail, where I live, a taser was used on a prisoner for failing to comply to an order.
The prisoner had heart problems and the electric shock caused his heart to stop. The prisoner was rushed to the hospital and died!

I agree with manny on this, in that car you can get no leverage to use your submission moves. you'd first have to drag her out, which would be tough, and likely scratch her up and hurt her joints in the process. Might even tear some clothes off (another lawsuit).

thats the risk the cop takes....and if he dies..well good...one less crooked cop on the street...one less dickhead to push people around to ease his big ass ego!

There are a few good cops out there but the majority are just plain dicks!
