Wasnt there a running joke

Don't even get me started when I first moved into my house our first hydro bill, in November was $620

Where is that slimy cock sucker

Electric bills are cheap unless you live in a shithole and run the a/c all day. It's the water bills that kill those of us in states that fraudulently claim drought all year long.

My water bill. It is 3x my electric bill.
I'm the opposite, water bill averages out to just under $40 a month, electric is (currently) $104 a month (I'm on a budget, that changes every quarter, was $116 a month so we're doing something right).

What's this talk about water being more expensive than electricity? That doesn't make any sense to me. My water bill is like $30/month, steady. Electric ranges from like $65 to $200 depending on which season it is. This is for a 2000 sq ft 3 bedroom Townhouse.

I pay an average of $65-$85/mo. for electricity. I don't have an AC. It goes up to around $100/mo. in December if we use the heater at night.

I pay water every other month, but it averages out to about $100/mo., and that's after I let the entire back yard die off and get paved in. Trash and sewer is collected separately, but it's about $25/mo.

AC? Anal Cunt?

my water bill was $167 last month.

Water is usually 110 a month and electricity runs anywhere from 250-300 a month.

Looks like I get fucked.

My electric bill was $570 last month and our AC stays on 75. I bump the bedroom down to 70 at night. but, that's not cheap to me

It makes me smile a little to see that non-CA residents are getting financially raped on their utility bills. It's about time we paid less for something.

At least water is cheap

My rate increases on every single bill. You should see some of the reasons. Last summer we had a drought, so our rate skyrocketted and we were only allowed to water our lawns 3 times a week, then winter came and we had higher than average rain fall and the drought was declared over. Our rates went up again citing some sort poorly projected water conservation act.

Recently my rate went up again citing a rate increase that was voted in way back in 2009.

Do you pay exactly what you use, or is it an average of all the neighbors in your complex?

Water is an average but electricity is our use. My little one likes to jump around, then he gets hot and turns the AC on full blast.

One of the benefits of living so close to the pacific ocean is none of the older houses were built with AC, so I don't have to worry about the kids fucking with it when I'm gone all day. The downside is that it's been in the 90's for a while, and an ocean breeze and fan just isn't cutting it anymore.

Electricity is $300 to $500 ...water bill running around $1k and I have a water well for my lawn. That is an ass fucking right there folks.

No water bill, and $100-$150 electric bill depending on the season. I used to think my electric bill was high till I saw what y'all pay, holy shit, I'd be taking out some light bulbs if mine got that high.

look at me i drink from a stream!

Let him? Heck no. He is 11 and he was home with his teenage brother. I was at work and came home to an ice box.

So how bad did you beat their asses when you got home? They better be reminded every time they sit down for the next few days that they don't mess with the T-stat in my house. I'd get one of those locking plastic covers if I had to. No one touches the T-stat in my house. NO ONE.

I guess I'm not so bad off then lol, it sucks though that I live in Manitoba the province that creates hydro power and we pay more for it than the states. That shit is twisted

You're not scaring anyone. NO ONE.

I'm super OCD about the temperature in my house, especially at night. I get up 2-3x a night every night to adjust it by 1 degree. I'm paranoid of my baby being too cold or too warm. I have no idea why I am so worried about this. but its been this way since she came home from the hospital. I blame hormones.

Where I live, electric and gas is combined into one energy bill. Lately its been around $300 a month. My water is something like 40 bucks a month.

Well clearly you don't live in the fucking desert!

Average annual rainfall in San Diego is around 10 inches (that's what she said!). 13 of the past 16 years SD was under the average. Some years were severely under (severe drought), like in the 3-5 inches range. We are technically a desert.

Nice living in paradise life...

I miss Swole.

Hi Bino can you put out the wop signal and get all the wops back on EF?

Hell yeah. I'm sitting on my porch, smoking a cigar and it's still got to be in the 70's.

Espinoza & Ortego 601 green label La Punta. It's an oscuro wrapper in a perfecto vitola.

Nice. I'm just now getting into decent cigars and learning more about em, tired of 9 dollar tobacco.

This. Our average rainfall is 10" as well. We got less than 1" in 2011 so they raised the water rates 4x. Then, and THEN. Cocksucjers figured out overall revenue was down because nobody was using water so they raised them another 40%.

That folks is a lesson in why you can't keep raising taxes to increase revenue!!
