Washington Post article on new prohormones

1-test will be illegal.... eventually

As I searched for the next coolest supplement and researched how it must be taken I came to a realization. Some legal steroids work, some prohormones convert to illegal steroids in the body, and some stuff is just crap. The risks of taking these substances (if they become steroids) are very similar to the risks of taking steroids except that the law will not harass you (you can also claim to be natural if this is of some value to you, and you haven’t realized that it is no longer true).

Why would I risk buying junk, and the sides. Instead perhaps I should risk the law and the sides. This is the decision I came to.

As Zyg said other legal drugs are much more harmful than Steriods.

As I imagine has been mentioned here, the sports organizations are responsible for Steriods being illegal. In my opinion they will succeed in outlawing 1-Test (legal steroid) and steroid precursors as well. The purpose is to keep their sport “clean” and to prevent their sport from becoming about who can take the best drugs. While it is somewhat sad that the person who works the hardest will not be the fastest runner if they are up against a person who works essentially just as hard, but is willing to take drugs unwisely, the fix for this is not a banning of all drugs. I am not a professional athlete and I would rather be Patrick Arnold than Mike Tyson, and as such I want to make my own choices and they can have there drug tested sports!

Its not even as much the fact that there are more dangerous products sold OTC and used day in and day out. Its the fact that I cant choose to do what I want with my own body. Everytime someone smokes near me I have to inhale it, everytime someone drinks and gets behind the wheel everyone on the road with them is in danger. WOman can choose to kill their unborn children yet I cant choose to enhance by body and performance with a chemical....anyone else see the hipocracy in it??
