Last month I moved to the place I'm currently living in, with my brothers. Three bedroom, 2 (full) bath rooms, and washer and dryer hook ups. My last place had a laundry room so I didn't have a washer and dryer and neither did my bros, so we were going to buy them. This chick I was (sort of still am) dating had a washer and dryer in storage for over a year and she offered to them to me for free. "Hell yeah I'll take those shits!" I told her, but for some reason or another, every attempt to pick them up failed, always something going on and it was always "wait 'til next week." Me and my bros got frustrated and again started looking for some to buy but she insisted that we take hers. I told her we were a bit tire of trying to get them from her and were set on buying some, she wound up delivering them her self, with the help of her brother. "Thank you very much, me love you long time" etc, etc......
So I'm all stoked, I'd been holding up on doing laundry for a while so I emmediately hooked those shits up. Well the fucking dryer didn't work, no heat, and the washer leaked. Now it was very clear why this bitch was so insistent on giving them to me
I know nothing of washer and dryer repair and was not looking forward to either taking them or having some one come in to repair them. Fuck that shit, I'd rather just spend the money on new ones like i was going to do anyways. But I got a little curious and impatient so I took the dryer appart. On a wild guess I opened up the gas valve a bit on the burning/heating unit, put the whole thing back together and whamo! Heat! Feeling good and confident I turn the washer back on, see where the leak is coming from, look it up on the net and it turns out to be a common problem on these washers, $20 part. I just received the part today, put it on and :wash: :wash: :wash:
Ha! I bet that bitch drove away thinking she had gotten rid of some worthless clunkers! They're large capacity too, I can wash my king sized comforters in them
If she ever asks I'm just going to pretend it was a hastle and a grip of dough to fix them.
