If you love her so much, you would have figured out a way to have a clean house and to keep the dog out of the bedroom at all times. It might not be too late.
Number one you could have taken responsibility for washing the sheets/bedding and vaccuming/mopping the bedroom. Would take you 15 minutes a day tops to tidy up. Once a week wash all your sheets and bedding with hot water and a touch of bleach.
In return for you taking care of this, she agrees to keep the dog out of the nice clean bedroom. Dogs will take over if you let them. It is kinder to the dog to keep it out so it knows its place.
She may not have learned this before, teach her so she has some self respect and pride in her home.
If you two can't be grownups and do this on your own, go see a counselor.
