Warning about Albuterol

Vertigo

New member
I just read the AG's sticky on Albuterol and noticed one glaring ommission by Mr Roberts. High doses of Albuterol can cause acute hypokalemia and the associated risk of cardiac dysrhythmia. I'm not going to question the assertion of increased muscle growth and fat loss with this drug, but P.T. Barnum said it best, there's a sucker born every minute.

OK, my asbestos drawers are in place....turn on the heat!

hypokalemia

Sounds like a Hawaiian disease, so I’m not going to catch it,

Happened to read that sticky this week, also, because just started clen again

Any way, not convincing and I will continue my clen, shakes and all, because I just want to burn up some fat,

You just supplement with K as you do with clen.

alright, i know im prob. gonna catch hell for this because i havent really done much homework on it, but..i read the same thread ab. albuterol. Is this the same albuterol people use in asthsma inhalers. If so, would it be possible to jus i guess take a couple hits of an inhaler lol??

I was wondering this becasue....they have tried to get me to breath by using a nebulizer and abuterol when I am having an asthma attack...anyway I would not respond to the meds and they were afraid that if I kept using the abuterol my heart would give out before I could breath so I was on a life support machine for about 4 days.......Im a runner and only use abuterol once or twice if I can't breath because they told me any more then that was to hard of my heart..........

Yes it's the same. Albuterol and clen are very similar. The reason clen is not approved by the FDA is that we have albuterol.

Gymgurl I don't think going over 1 or 2 puffs is hard on your heart. I'm sure excessive use is not good, but I used to routinely take 3 or 4 puffs prior to playing hockey when I was younger and I'm still here.

So if you took more than the usual amount, would you get the right effect, as far as fat burning? or would it need to be a larger more concentrated dose?

Like clen the effects will slow down if you stay with the same dose. I like clen better for fat burning.

It's my belief that Albuterol does not have the same effect as Clen. Albuterol is a poor choice for fat loss or muscle growth. If someone is looking to benefit from this type of beta antagonist Fenoterol would be a much better choice. It is proven to be more anabolic than Clen and has about the same associated risk of myocardial hypertrophy and ischemia.
