I love aquariums!!

I even love my screen saver aquarium:lmao: :lmao:

If I had it to do all over again......... I would have been a Marine Biologist or something in the Marinelife field. It fascinates me. Some of the stuff on Discovery channel or Animal Planet blow my mind. I really like the shows that go to the bottom of the ocean where it is pitch black and then all these wild ass fish have different colors from electricity.

First time I went snorkeling I got kind of tripped out with the silence except for my breathing......so I am not sure how I will react WHEN I go scuba diving, which I hope is sometime this summer.

I started out with cichlids myself. I used to breed them and sell them back to the lfs.

One of these days I am going to post pics of my 200 gal reef. I finally got the corals and fish I wanted, but I still haven't had time to take pics. The-one-crumcake's tank is by far the best. You should ask him to post some pixs. It absolutley fabulous!

Right now I have www.serenescreen.com

You should learn to SCUBA.. It is AWESOME!! I used to SCUBA with sharks for a living :chomp: :chomp: :chomp:

Ya I have seen the serenescreen saver. I have this one going right now :

What was your job that prompted you to swim with sharks? I hope to hell it paid well. Talk about an andrenaline rush. Shark Week and Predator Week are 2 of the things I wait for on Disc Channel.

Ohhh... cool website!! I'll get that too.

Shark Week is cool..Sharks are given a bad wrap. I've actually been bitten/beatup by more fish.. Well, I worked with Hammerheads, black tip, white tip, nurse, zebra, and bammboo sharks. They are not really aggressive.

rudedawg, if u do get a saltwater tank, octopus' are the last thing u will consider, they are the hardest fish to maintain due to them always getting out of the tank then dying. They are usually only for great saltwater aquarists who have been in the game for a long time. With saltwater tanks too, the size of the tank is usually a lot bigger due to coral and liverock put in. Cost is a lot more in the beginning but well worth it. Eventually it evens out. Also, saltwater fish r a bitch to catch cuz they go in the liverock as soon as they see that net coming. Takes forever to get em

We have one in our home, but
it's fresh water fish.. :)

Yours looks very nice.. :)

I disagree with the Saltwater tanks being hard to keep. I rarely do water changes, in fact, I do not even run any type of Filtration device on this. All natural, rocks, sand, and live corals.
