Warik-Computer okay now?

Did you get your computer fixed? Just curious what you had to do, cause I got another friend with XP problems similar to yours.

Well, I got a new Maxtor ATA/133 80GB hard drive, installed it, and did a fresh install of Windows XP and I haven't had the same problem yet. No guarantee that it's fixed, though, since there was never a way for me to duplicate the error. I suppose through a few weeks of normal use without "hello welcome to the blue screen of DEATH!" will let me know whether it's fixed or not.

Drive was only $120 too after rebate. Shit, that reminds me, I've got to send out the rebate.
