After a long debate between Vonage, At&t and Verizon - I picked Verizon.

And to date I am quite pleased.
The actual phone service is good and customer service has been very nice, patient and helpful.

Sooooooo if you're looking - I am quite pleased.

I can totally recommend it.

ATT....never looked back.

part of the big project i had in work- the one that i did perfectly but got yelled at for the most minor of things today, making me want to whip my bosses neck with a chain saw - was investigating whether voip would be a good option for us and which one.
I decided it wouldn't suit us well, but if i went with one, it was most likely going to be verizon. it seemed like the most reliable.

I tried Vonage...I hated it.

One of my clients had it - SUCKS ASS and their customer service truly has to be one of the worst. How long were you on hold to cancel the service?

I also recently switched to Verizon. Their salespeople leave A LOT to be desired...

HOWEVER:

The reception is the shit. I no longer have a landline. So I will definitely same some bucks.

Their customer service so far - has ROCKED.

Verizon is not perfect, they have customer service issues, but there are also some great customer service people.

The network is good that is for sure.

I love the call filtering and do not disturb functions. When Stilletto calls me I have it go right to voicemail w/o even ringing. Then I have do not disturb on from 11-midnight so it doesn't ring when I'm getting booty....even though i'm usually getting it from myself.

I have verizon for phone and internet. Yes they are nice people. I have called them over 20 times in the past 1 1/2 year looking for tech support.
I have not had many problems.

Oh I had a problem - I had spoken to them prior to signing up because I was concerned about number portability. Anywho - the lady said that they take care of it and it should take up to three weeks. After three weeks I call to see why it hadn't ported and the guy I spoke to said did you fill out the form? Ugh what form? Long story short he was pretty apologetic for the first lady I spoke to and showed me where to find the form and that he'd see that he get ported in the next five days.

Well, I filled - he ported in 4 four days.

I couldn't be mad because had I explored the website better I would have found the form.

It's good to hear good feedback about verizon. I was considering switching when my Alltel (suck) contract is up this month. My first choice was Verizon. I'm pretty sold now - thanks!

Consumer reports rated cell phone companies.

I believe the conclusion was:

All cell phone providers suck, verizon just sucks the least.

LOL - this isn't cell service though.

But I agree nonetheless - I have Verizon wireless too.

I have had Vonage for well over a year asd a home service. I've yet to have a problem really. Plus Mexico through Canada is included for the same $25 a month

I have Comcast VOIP, High-speed internet & digital cable....LOVE it all.....

Got my local Verizon number ported within 3 days.....

I had to send them a certified letter to get my account closed. My phone would always go down whenever I had a really important call.

I'll stick to regular phone services from now on
