virus...........

I went home on Friday and was gonna get on-line but my computer started tripping out! Screens poppin up everywhere!!! One of the icons at the bottom of the screen had a pop up that stated it was corrupt..I don't even know what the file is! I look it up to remove it but it wasn't there! Then I did a search and found it but told me I was not authorized to delete it.
ugh....I'm hoping I get some good advice here on how to clean it up so I don't have to go pay someone.

I did do a scan and found 23 infected files called Trojan Horse....isn't that bad? I did the heal thingy for them but computer is still acting up. I'm pissed because I have only had that damn thing for about 5 months!

your prolly gonna have to reformat the hard drive if u r using xp i had to do that 2x after i downloaded kaaza and then uninstalled it, i was getting the same messages i was not authorized to delete file, i think that is the way the virus protects itself

Stop browsing pr0n sites and you'll be fine. In the mean time, format your drive and reinstall all of your software.

hell after nights of trying to get this damn thing back up and running....I just called the place I bought it from and they can hook me up for only 40.00!!!
and he is gonna install a new program to help eliminate this from happening agian.
