Virgin Atlantic plane hijacked?!

The pilot has the hijack alert on. US fighter jets are escorting the plane into New Brunswick, Canada. It was supposed to land in NYC.

It's on MSNBC right now, and also a headline is on the MSNBC website. It's not on CNN's website yet.
 
Virgin Atlantic said it had contacted the pilot, who said the aircraft was not being hijacked, but as a precaution the plane was being sent an airport in Halifax, Canada.
 
Pilot is claiming that they are not hijacked, but it's not allowed to land in US Airspace.

It's going to Halifax, Nova Scotia now.
 
Once that plane lands, it's going to look like they were hijacked.

Pilot over intercom - Ok everyone, we're being ordered to land in Canada until the hi-jack threat is cleared.

Passenger 1 - CANADA?! What the FUCK?!

Remainder of passengers - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Canada has cleared the plane.

Translation - we don't want to deal with the terrorists and we're sending the plane to the US. Fuck you America, you deal with these assholes, don't send them to us.

No one cares about Canada. What are the terrorists going to blow up, Maple syrup factories? And, it's a good thing we are tightening our borders to Canada, because you can see the need now. What if they were hijacked and the terrorists were able to sneak across the border? Nevermind the Southern border is relatively unguarded.
