very weak after donating

hey i donated blood last sunday and I am still feeling it. is this normal? I went in there sunday morning and the lady said that they really needed plasma, i usually just do whole blood. she said it would take 45 minutes and i said okay, i almost missed the football game cause it took over an hour. i feel weak as hell since, very tired and no energy.

with plasma you will be weak for a few days. that is normal

how fast you recover is dependent on your own situation

I have never had that happen before but sounds like with plasma it is completely possible. Just keep an eye on if you are improving or not.

rest and hydrate, 2-3 days should be fine
