i find it offensive that someone would try and say their own beliefs as answers of God.

some of those are complete bullshit, but the scenes and music did make me feel at peace

I would have to agree and add that some of those saying can be purchased as posters for motivation art work in office spaces.

But that is most of what religion is - man's word, folk tales and stories told by man.

But what ever makes people feel good and get through the day.

It is a beautiful collection of slides though, no doubt.

If you say it, it must be true. You are the all knowing dark princess. That is what most of religion is? How about the rest of it? You know, the part that is true. ;)

The most positive aspect of religion are the stories and the rituals that go along with it as it brings or tries to bring people and families together.

But since it was created by man in God's honor it can be imperfect and hypocritical.

So I guess what I'm saying is you make it what it is to you and you'll ve just fine.

As for the dark comment, you'd be surprised what I have experienced in this lifetime. Just because I'm not preachy and traditional doesn't mean I don't have faith.

it was nice, I think.... i guess i'm just desensitized to the world... I wouldn't know cute or pretty if it came up and bit me on the ass (unless it was a woman of course ;) )

Yesterday, my daughter informed me that she is an athiest. Wow. She thinks she knows everything at 13. There is no God and no Satan she says. THe generation coming up, well we're in trouble.

nice images, text was a load of idealist crap though

I don't think anyone here actually thought it was God speaking, but you really thought the ideas were a load of crap? The scenery was breathtaking. God made a very beautiful world.

Great visual experience, Brad.

I think anyone can see the beauty in life without belief in God, though.

He certainly did.......and then he made man, which I noticed was not included in the slideshow.

Well I think my great nephew is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. He's 9 months old. :)

I'm not going to debate theology, with you Brad. Just saying that beauty is inherent in man, without necessity of a deity.

Including man would have killed the purity, Jay....

Man is not pure, never was, never will be.

Man has the capability of so much beauty and so much ugliness as well.

That's the price we pay for being "thinking" animals.

Me too bro. It was one of our members that sent it to me, but I won't say who without his permission. :)

I feel ya. My daughter says she doesn't believe in God either. I tell her you don't know what you're missing.
The peace within, & the strength to carry on when you think you're done. Awsome.

I didn't either all throughout my 20's. Didn't feel that I needed God that much so didn't look for him. My attitude was, "If there's a God, he'll have to prove it to me and I'm not gonna look that hard."
