I put waco and ruby ridge in nearly the same league. If you look at the reasons why the government made the actions they did, they measure up nearly the same.

Ditto here.........a tightly knit group formed and exercised their right to collect firearms. Neither group behaved aggressively and neither group posed a reasonable threat to the public.

The government came to them and slaughtered them.

Of course....this was all justified with blatant lies and deception. One has to expect this when the law is broken and innocent lives are taken.



Having said that....our government has enjoyed a better than average track record when dealing with internal problems. When they screw up, it is the duty of concerned citizens to take note of it so that it does not become a common pattern.
