I think genetics plays a role, I am very vascular.

I strongly belive that genetics play a tremedous role in vascularity. there are people who remain very vascular at 15% bodyfat and other don't have any vascularity at all. Not even at 3% bodyfat. At the end it all comes down to genetics.

I swear to god this is true. When I have a few beers or red wine, I get super pumped and very vascular. I know some people as well who do this before photo shoots. I use to know someone at my gym who would carb up the day before a show by having at least 12 beers and some red wine the day of the show backstage. Everyone at the gym was asking him what's his secret to getting so tight and vascular. He replied that his secret is drinking 12 beers the day before the show and some red wine before going on stage. everyone thought he was being sarcastic, but he was telling the truth.

Alcohol supposedly thins the blood so maybe more is able to flow through your veins and make them bulge. Combine that with the carbs in wine and beer and maybe that's the secret. Have you ever seen anyone bleed after they've had a few beers? I've accidentally cut myself after drinking and the blood flows like a river. I'm sure this has something to do with the increased vascularity.
