Veins everywhere...why?

I'm pretty vascular everywhere. Veins all over my arms and some into my delts. Veins in my legs etc etc. I get compliments all the time at the gym. Especially when I'm doing bi's or tris. People are like..."Damn! What are you taking to show such vascularity?!".

Question is....

What does it mean? Am I sick? Is this high blood pressure? Low blood pressure? Every time I get my blood pressure down...they always say its fine.

What does this mean? Is this a good or bad thing?

well if you have low body fat and "pumped" muscles they show really well. prob just the increased blood flow from working out, are they like that when you arnt working out?

In my case it's low body fat. They all pop out as soon as I'm below 6 or 7 %. Below 6%, mine look almost like a vine is growing under my skin. Even on my abs. It's nothing to worry about, as far as I know, and my doctor doesn't question it. Also as much as I hate to say it, AGE has a lot to do with it. You don't see teenage kids, no matter how lean and buff, with a lot of veins showing. Bulked up men over 40 with low b.f. usually have a lot of vascularity.

Vasularity rules. I'm two weeks out from contest and have them everywhere. shoulders, legs, calves, chest, arms are in a class all there own, even across the back. My head with being bald is so vascular its eerie.
Age will only improve the look. enjoy it.

as i get older i notice more and more vascularity, ive herd the skin gets thinner as you age. veins are the blood vessels that transport deoxygenated blood back to the heart and through the lungs. thats why u notice more when lifting, since the used blood is being cycled back through at a faster rate than normal.

skin type also plays a role

iv always wanted to be vasculer but never have been :(

get your body fat down under 9 percent and you'll have em in one form or another the leaner the more vascular you will get.
Training years not Age will absolutely have a factor in it. The veins and such get thicker with training so maturity not neccessarily age

My arms used to be pretty vascular but I went from maybe 12-14% bodyfat and I lost a lot of vascularity:(

Here's my arm at 5.7% bf... I could never have hat this at age 17 though. They didn't pop out like that until I was in my 30s. Phlebotomists LOVE me!

Your body will increase the size of blood vessels like muscles to be able to pump more blood throughout the bood if need be, thats why people's vasuclarity can increase with weightlifting as well as muscle mass, and another reason weightlifting is so good for overall health, because it increases the ease of blood flow throughout the body... therefore just means your in good shape, and you probably have some natural vasuclarity, good genetics.

Is that pumped or unpumped? I've noticed my arms are much more vascular at night

I'm opposite lol at night I start feeling warmer and vascularity is much higher, almost as much as when I'm fully pumped.

Yeah. I'm 34...that's how vascular I look. So...there's nothing wrong with me? Thought maybe this is the sign of high blood pressure. But I'm always told I'm fine. Thought maybe it was due to out of wack cholesterol levels. Or way toooooo much thick blood.

So all in all...I'm ok? Nothing wrong?

If anything you will have lower blood pressure because your veins are flowing smoothly and loose not tight:)
