varicose veins

I got a big varicose vein in my leg, Its very unsightly to me. I had surgery on it about 10 years ago to remove it but it came back rather soon. Now Im looking into other options like Sclerotherapy, injecting it to seal it closed. Has anyone here had that done? I know this isnt about AS but I see a lot of BB have these veins and some of you must have had treatment.

I used to work with a woman who was a distance runner and had them (and a smoking body to boot), she was receiving some type of saline injections for them...I would love to have seen all of her body (even the varicose)
