Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below I've never been big on valentines day and this year both the boyfriend and I have to work friday and saturday. BUT, I am thinking of a little belated v-day surprise. he knows I'm taking him skiing, but he thinks we're going to snowshoe in west VA. IF I can get the time off, I am thinking instead of taking him and the girls out west to utah for REAL skiing.

I too am not a Valentines day gal. I find it over commercialized and expectations are set so high for both partners that it causes more stress than pleasure. Enjoy a simple evening at home with your partner or family and recognize the beauty of love. It was meant to be a day to stop and reflect.

Right...I mean why set aside one day of the year to show someone you love them? Plus, I don't really care much for flowers because when they start to die it depresses me lol. And chocolate is obviously out. And I don't wear jewelry. I've always just preferred to stay home and maybe cook a nice meal.
LOL - I can't say ours are great but it sure makes our winters better. We have three within 100 miles. I actually just learned to ski this year and then I gave that up for the board. Still working on that one ;-)
I'd love to be in some real powder!
I'm a little intimidated but i can't wait to try it out. And the scenery! I'm excited just for that!
