Using same needle for drawing?

Have any of you guys ever used the same needle just for drawing? Like just reused it over and over? If it's not going through your skin and you wipe everything down with an alcohol pad and cap it right when your done I don't see the big deal? I don't see why it would be dangerous?

yes i draw with the same needle for some time then replace it.

as long as you keep everything clean and sanitary then its fine. the needle is never contacting anything except the oil

id never risk it. just not worth it to me and not right for my situation.

im sure it can be done safely but ill spend the extra money for peace of mind.

Where can you get pins? I use insulin pins for everything. I can buy them 10 at a time from any pharm. I get the half inch and pin in delts and outer thigh. Almost zero fat there so I know I am in muscle pretty good.

i would never use it to draw more than once bacteria can set up in the pin.. and if you cant find any pins go to a close farm or ag store they got steril pins of any size

Don't reuse. Bacteria can get on the needle as soon as its exposed to air. The longer its out the greater chance of infection. G P Z services has everything you need. Great prices and same day shipping.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Obviously I dc to buy more needles cause they're cheap as hell, just wanted to know opinions on this. Because if it can be reused without dangers than why not. But obviously some people think their is danger and some people dont. So once again it's just about research and making your own decision lol just like everything else with gear it seems like.

No problem. And yea my local tractor supply, the smallest they have is 22gx1" but it's my first cycle and I'm using them no problem so you should be able to too unless your injecting smaller muscle groups. You can get 24 of them for 8 dollars.

agree--I use 18g just b/c impatient to wait and 23 to pin. 1 time only.

Use one time only then discard. A couple years ago I tried to make some supplies last longer and resused. Was fine for a few months but I guess ended up pushing it too far and developed an infection under the skin which became very painful, swollen, red and started to spread at an alarming rate. Believe me I was scared but didn't want to go to the doctor and have that on my record so I stated an IV on myself and ran some strong IV antibiotics over a couple days and then took oral antibiotics for like ten days. The IV antibiotics helped big time after 12 hours, I recovered completely and swore to never reuse anything again.

Id use the 22 to draw with... I just draw 8-10 syringes at a time... reuse the one tip since it is the first time using it, and never have a problem. So when im ready to use, the Syringes is allready... Saves on tips. But u should never reuse a needle or reinsert a needle through a rubber stopper or puncture skin for im injection.

Proper asceptic technique says always change the tip regardless of what ur puncturing. And always swab the top of ur stopper with alcohol, Everytime after penatration and pulling the needle out. Blunt tips hurt n are not considered sterile after contact with an unsterile object (rubber stopper) or living tissue... It also says if u drop the tip below the OR table, any instrument for that matter, The instrument is considered unsterile, and a new one should be unwrapped asceptically...

Go on amazon and buy a 100 pack of what size you want and shipped to you its under a 20 bucks. You have needles for a while. Never reuse needles. I did when I was young and stupid. I had a 50ml puss pocket drained from my glute. It could have been the cheap mexican gear I was taking at the time or just not having all the needles and crap I needed. Its no fun to go into the dr and explain why you have the big ass abscess you need drained.
