Yes, sacrificing those 9 children's lives are okay (along with the 6000 lost thus far in Iraq and Afghanistan).

Just like the US sacreficing those 3000 lives is worth it for the other side.

Yeah, remember Kosovo? Our Army was too chickenshit to send the soldiers on the ground, so they just kept dropping bombs on schools and hosptals from 10 000 feet. What a fricking disgrace our once proud military machine has become...

Its not the US's fault that enemy combatants choose to hide out among innocent civilians. The guy they were trying to hit obviously doesn't have any regard for the women and children he endangered by hiding out there. The US didn't specifically say "Lets go blow up some afghan kids today..." Exercise a tad bit of intellectual honesty while you're on you soap box...
