urgent split routine question

dable

New member
hi guys, i was just wondering when doing a split routine say chest and tri's
should you do all your chest exercises first then tri's or can you alternate them i.e 1 chest exercise, then do 1 tricep exercise etc,
my chest is the lagging body part my arms legs shoulders etc grow really fast but my chest grows very slow

You would want to train the pressing movements first. Do all of your flat/incline/decline variants first. It would be okay to go back and forth with fluff things like pec deck and flyes and crossovers and your triceps work. Pressing with fatigued triceps limits the load you can use, which will limit your progress.

LOL @ fluff things like pec dec & flyes & cable crossovers :)

btw- if your chest/bench press is lagging, you need to squat more.
