UPS Warning

Anyone using UPS should be warned they are instructed to open packages randomly due to the code orange or whatever it is. I've heard of one source that's already had a big problem because of it. Just figured I would give a heads up. I would assume other mail carriers will take simular measures. - josh

UPS is private orgainization... they don't need warrants to open anything. :)

C-ditty

C-ditty is right there are private and do NOT need a warrant neither does Fed-ex. UPS does however need a warrent unless it's coming thru customs. Though this doesnt make much sense since we were in code orange a month ago for awhile also. Didnt hear anything about it then??

You mean USPS needs a warrent.:)

ups

I have no idea why this is only coming up now. It is supposed to be random, so maybe it just happened randomly. All I can tell you is what I heard, and I know it's reliable info.

I doubt it. I work for UPS, and I can tell you that we don't have the goddamn time to sit there and randomly open packages. You forget how time-critical everything is for this company. The only time we open packages is when they are leaking or damaged and need to be repacked. I have not seen a single incident of a package being opened that contained drugs.
