I've tried everything to get that armor look to my (upper) chest.
I got my chest growing by doing flat bench (3sets after warm up), then inlcine (3sets), then incline dumbells, then flat dumbells(2 or 3 sets), then standing (upright) flies with the cables set on the bottom. Try that routine with some variation of set and rep #'s and I'm sure you'll start noticing a difference.
