update 4 weeks into cutting cycle

im on week 4,starting week 5 in a few days of a 9 week cycle of 100mg eod of prop,just added t3 and plan to do a 10day run of dnp somewhere,but heres the progress ive made in a month

start weight 196,today 196(holding a bit of water)

here is my midway shots taken 1 month after I started,still a ways to go but I am adding lbm and losing fat so I am happy as hell,and all on under 1700cals a day

also the bacne isnt from test Its a teen thing I havent had leave me yet,but on test its cleared up some

so what do you guys think?
 
looks like very respectable progress for 1month.

shaving the body couldn't hurt though lol. then again, im a shave-a-holic.
 
I usually just keep it trimmed short with clippers,I do however hope fat loss speeds up,maybe I should get bf testing done

the tat on my right arm is a celtic clover,but in the picture that arm is on the right side,my other tat is a irish flag
 
OK.... Let me say a few things to help you out.

1. Cut out all (or eat very, VERY few) Carbs, Sugars..... In 2 months you will lose like 20 - 25lbs !!! Trust me I know you want to stay the same weight but dropping about 20 - 25lbs of muscle will improve your look alot. After you lose the fat you can work on putting on lean muscle mass.

2. Go to your dermatologist and get on ACCUTANE for about 6 months and that should clear up your acne asap, If you don't want to go on meds, maybe try tanning and some topicals but looks like you need some med's

3. What is your routine like ? post it up so the guys on here to critique it !!!

4.You made some decent progress but I think if you change your diet and maybe do some cardio you are gonna get some HUGE changes in your body.

I do want honest opinions,no bullshit,bullshitting isnt going to help it will keep me in a dream world,I probably wont take it as a flame so speak away bro,im not saying I look great I know bf is high,thats why I am dieting,muscle mass is good already imo

as for the meds,my derm wanted me on it,I have the script just havent got it filled yet,plus im starting orals in a month so that wouldnt be a good idea,tanning will help,just havent had time

as for routine,its bang on,progressing very well,and diet has been worked out by a nutritionist who trains bb's and its great,I do take a bit longer to drop bf thats for sure,and Im hitting cardio4-5 times a week,whatever I have time for

1700cals does seem low yes,but Im hardly losing on that and to maintain I need 2160 so I think thats reasonable,some days I go even lower 1500
 
but how much of your calories are from carbs ?, you can eat 4000 calories and lose weight (if you kept the carbs below like 50 grams a day)

It is the carbs that keep the weight on, trust me.

experiment for 2 weeks with a low or no carb diet and I know you will lose alot of weight
 
I may have one day a week where I add a cheat meal

whatcutalkinboutwillis-I get what you mean,alot of my cals are carbs,but I try and keep them during the day and low carb it at night and on off days when I dont lift

here is what I eat usually,but it varies sometimes
1)turkey wrap with lettuce and diana sauce
2 )1 can tuna,1/2 cup rice 1tbsp flax
3 )1 can tuna ,1/2 sweet potato,or reg potato
4) chicken breast,1.5 cups of mixed veggies 2 tbsp flax
5) 8 egg whites 1/3 cup of oatmeal
6)a serving of meat,some kind,whatever is cooked in the house

they arent always in that order,I mix it up but I usually stick with those foods
im starting dnp today or tomorrow I think which should help with a bit of the stubborn fat,I do plan a lower carb diet while on dnp
 
what if I went like this
6 eggwhites in salsa 1 packet oatmeal(34g carb)
tuna 3 teaspoons flax
Chicken breast w 1 cup veggies(10.5 g carb)
meat
pre workout turkey breast on whole wheat (32g carb)
tuna 3 teaspoons flax

total carbs 76.5
about 1550cals or so and 140g pro(which Ive been maintaining on lately)

that diet looks good...... If you could keep the carbs down to 100 or less for 6 - 8 weeks..........OMG you would be sooooo happy with the results.

If you could stick to a no carb diet for 4 weeks even, you will see what i am talking about.

You could be massive because of your frame with the right diet and program.

thanks guys,I am def going to try sub 100g carbs for the rest of this cutting cycle,but much below 50-60g I get wild headaches and have issues functioning and stringing together long line of thought which I need in school,but I am certain sub 100 and maybe 70-100 is very do able,Ill keep you guys posted on my results
 
You're making progress bro. That's the name of the game. I totally disagree with willis. If you want to stress about carbs then restrict them after 2:00 pm. I wouldn't cut them out totally. Bottom line is less calories in than calories used equals fat lost. 1700 sounds about right to me. Are you doing any cardio? If not you could even stand to go to about 1500 per day. I have been sticking at 1600 per day and haven't done cardio at all. The only numbers that I pay attention to are calories to keep them below my BMR and protein to keep it as close 200 or above it if I can. You can use calorieking.com or nutriondata.com to verify your calorie count and check the amount of protein and whatnot you are getting. Let me know if I can help you out at all.
 
thanks bro,I appreciate your opinion,as for now I am doing cardio 5 days a week,maintaining weight but adding lbm or so it seems,plus I added the dnp kicker for 10 days in hopes to drop a few bf% that way,Im still very close to the diet we discussed in my diet thread a few weeks ago and love it.

I have been doing this for 23 years..... I said if you did cut out the carbs totally, only do it for a set period of time untill you reach a good body weight with less fat. Then after you reach that go on a normal body building diet, But now as it stands you need to lose weight and fat so I would suggest going on a atkin's type diet for now (because it is the easiest diet I know of, and it is effective)

guys I do appreciate both opinions but the high pro,high fat,very low carb kills me,I am willing to try sub 100g . my training is a at night which also throws a wrench in the works as I must eat carbs later in the day or my training sucks.

Ill give both diets a shot and see how things turn out,right now Im going to stick around 100g but close to the diet onerep and I worked on,and then when I cut again in july I will give the lower carb -50g a shot again and see how it goes

Looking good buddy! You have made some decent progress...Willis and Onerep both have good points and there both right. Diet is more trial and error then anything. Some people are carb sensitive so keeping the carbs to a minimum is what works best for them, other can still lose a good amount of body fat eating 200-300 carbs a day. I suggest you try diffrent apporaches to see what works best for you. I know that for myself, a 60%P, 20%C, 20%F works best for me when "cuting" I do not think that DNP is needed. You are not fat and IMO that is just to extreme for what your trying to do. Cytomel, which your using right now, along with Clen-E/C/A alternating every 2 weeks through out your cycle combined with a solid diet should be more then enough to get you to where you want to be. As for the cardio, try switching it up from time to time. I know runing on a treadmill can be boring at times, alternate (skipping, swimming, wind sprints, treadmill ect..) to keep it interesting. Good luck on the rest of your cycle and let me know if you need anything

thanks bro,especially about the fat part,I sure feel like a fat shit

my diet will def be trying different things and hope I find what works,I also like the idea of different cardio options,all I do now is walk on a incline and it is quite a bore

How's your progress? You've made some decent improvements have you been able to implement the new diet and trianing and how's that workingout for you?
 
I got sick a week ago,but I have leaned out a bit more in the love handles,would have looked better if I had not dropped almost 10lbs from being sick,but I start bulking monday so I plan to get up to 210 from just under 190,then the start of july or late june I will cut again right up until the show I want to do in november

Ill take some pics this weekend hopefully and post them before I bulk
 
I hate that I've been sick 3 times this year already...not full on flu but several days of down and out. Good luck in your recovery and look forward to seeing you reach your goals.
 
thanks bro,Im usually not one to get sick,but a gasteral virus hit my town pretty good lately and since Im always around people at school and the gym I was doomed I guess

I start back in the gym monday so hopefully all goes well and I get pics up soon
