So I'm pretty sure I've finally picked a show I'd like to do - which is in the fall. My first one ever, and I expect to get my ass kicked, but I want the experience and would love to say I've done one!
Here is my internal struggle. I've been on cycle now for 11 weeks - two mini cycles actually that ran back to back. I have 3 weeks left on my current 750mg Test E cycle. ANYWAY - I'm still making gains, but they are coming slower like they always do. I'd like to be quite a bit bigger before I go to cut down near the end of summer for the show. I'm debating whether or not to come off...
In the past I've run for up to 9 months straight, came off, no PCT (I was in a situation where I couldn't. It involved bars and stripped clothing), I lost all the gains which I blame on restricted shitty jail diet and no equip, but my body recovered fine. Anyway, I recognize the risk in staying on for that long just to do a silly show that I know isn't going to turn me pro.
However I kind of feel it's worth the risk. Some will agree others will call me foolish. I guess I have to decide for myself.
If I decide to stay "on," is it best to just keep changing gear in 8-10 week "cycles" to keep gains fresh? Are there things I should avoid?
Also if you have concerns about staying on that long, I am open to hearing your experience etc. I'm not an idiot, and I don't ask questions unless I am willing to hear advice and listen and learn. Some dudes make a post, everyone advises against it, and they write back saying "Ok, I'll do it anyway." It's like "thanks for wasting everyone's time jerk bag." Ok - those who compete and those that can share their insight - talk to me!
