yes we should allow the chinese oil company to buy unocal. and unocal is hardly a "large, strategic" oil company in the US. i don't think it's even in the top 15. it's an 18 billion dollar company, hardly anything compared to a company like chevron. it is anti capitalistic to prevent this type of transaction with china and unocal to occur. we have to realize that the trade deficit with china is a real problem and that the transfer of real assets, such as unocal, will continue as long as the trade deficit with china continues. that's how this shit works
