underground labs synthesis

i am not sure if this is appropriate if it isnt moderate it, but anyone know much about the exact synthesis of any of the anabolic hormones? i took organic chemistry in college and know they are simalar to colesterol. i wonder if they are a full blown lab scene? shit the mexicans are making them. so i assume it is legal to manufacture if you are in mexico when you do it.

Sure, any of them can be pretty easily made from pregnenalone, estradiol or even cholesterol if you have a lab and access to chemicals. Therein lies the rub, the chemicals and reagents necessary are not things you can just go pick up at the hardware store and the equipment like glassware, magnetic stirrers/stirbars, graduated glassware, etc. are difficult to get without raising suspicians as well. I work in a synthetic lab but I would never do anything like that here. AS are not worth my job or my freedom. Not to mention, if I were caught, my boss would be legally liable as well; even though she would have had no idea what I was doing. I would never take the chance of getting someone else in legal trouble. I am just not that selfish I guess.
