Jdbaker82, I experience the same burning but usually only when training chest. I only experience the burning sensation in my right soulder though, not my left. I have been browsing this forum for awhile now and reading through various posts. I have been training religiously for approximately three years but I am always reading to expand my knowledge in this amazing sport. Anyways, I have tried a few things which have seemed to help with this burning pain. For chest presses, both incline and flat, I have always been more fond of dumbells and not a barbell. I started to alternate more often which helped for a little while. I always started to incorporate the hammer strength chest machines into my routine. For example, one week I may do both flat and incline but only with the hammer strength machine. The next week I might do incline presses with the barbell on the smith machine. I have found that the smith machine definitely helps minimize that burning pain in my shoulder. Diet wise, I upped my glucosamine and glutamine. I'm not sure if it was a placebo effect or not, but this seemed to help. I cut back on this though because I was going through so much of it that it was starting to put a dent in my wallett. Anyways, I hope some of this helped you. I feel your pain man because I know how much it sucks when you still have three to four reps left in you but the burning sensation in your shoulders completely overcomes your lift and forces you to end the set. Good luck.
