ULTER, share ou views on HRT with us....

you have low endo test mike?
the reason why i wanted to bring up that point was that i've ocasionally come across normal healthy guys asking about HRT when they really don't need it - they basically want to be on for a long time... also, the dosages they refer to as being "HRT" are sometimes high enough to be a full blown cycle.

just wondering whether some of you guys (especially under 30) considering HRT actually have low natural test or whether you call a long low dose cycle "HRT". i'm also wondering exactly what that "low dose" is.

ulter, what's your dosage like?

I'm not considering HRT, the doc actually put me on HRT. I have no choice, if I want to be back to normal, I gotta take 200mg/cc of test cyp every other week. I have bloodwork and a follow up in 5 weeks to see if he needs to up the dosage or decrease it depending on how I react. I started juicing when I was 24, and most of time followed pct properly. and neve got out of control with dosages or lenghts of cycles. my test level is 125, the norm is anywhere from 200-800, but more like 300-400. This was one of the factors in recent end of my 6 year relationship with my woman.

ya bro, i'm not pin pointing anyone... i fully understand that there are guys even in their 20s with low test who DO need HRT. the guys i'm refering to are those who DON'T need it but want to do it.

Yeah, I got tested right before I turned 21 because I was, and had always been, experiencing symptoms of low test (fatigue, no energy, no libido, low muscle mass), results came back at 280ish .. :(

Now i'm on 200mg/test wk

Right now they are a little high because I am trying to get my size back. Test 500mg, NPP 400mg, eq 500mg
That's not my high cycle, it's just my high HRT dosing. I will add Tren to that in January when I have the green light to train at full strength again. Right now I am using half of my normal weights.

1. thank you very much ulter for ur insight... you are a true inspiration to the board, and i know i can always count on you for not only advice but having it be scientifically based..for the most part that is.lol

2. the thread wasnt limited to just ulter.. i just put him in the title because he was the only one who i particularily remeber posting about how he was on hrt. im glad to see other have chimed in.
3. not saying that long term and heavy steroid use is good in anyway...but it almost seems to me like hrt/gh isnt exactly the fountain of youth, but certainly a way to keep yourself feeling young, and able to allow you to do things that most people wouldnt at an "older" age wouldnt be able to do!

Yes I used Cardio Breeze. I wouldn't even think about trying it without it

...don't forget the EQ (fading whisper)

LOL ...im just teasing you ulter ...but seriously, i am curious though, how do you control the ill effects of AAS, on say, lipids, if you never come off? ...or are they even any worth noting?

what are your staple supplements? ...and why?

1. what made you want to go on hrt?

I have naturally low test. When I went to see Dr Scruggs who ran a steroid clinic in Cal he gave me test/deca for 8 weeks. After the 8 weeks I asked him if I needed to do PCT and come off for 8 weeks. He said, why do you want to come off? I didn't have an answer. So I stayed on with him for a couple years and then just got used to it, and now I do it on my own.

2. at what point did you decide hrt was going to be your route?

See above

3. do you have a scrip for it and doest your doctor check up on you regularily?

Yes I do. I don't always use it but I have it. I check up on myself regularly.

4. do you think you have a better quality of life, by keeping your test levels higher as you get older, despite the fact that everyone else is getting lower?

Betchurass I do. I hadn't trained in over two months due to tearing my bicep tendon off and having it reattached. I hadn't done cardio in two years. I started doing cardio and did it for 4 weeks. I ran a 10k at Disney on Sunday and finished in the top half. Most people my age would have died trying that. I don't look or feel anywhere near my age and I attribute that to AS and GH. And Mom and Dad for giving me good genetics. :)

just a few questions i always wondered about and i figured some of the other board members would be interested as well...

good job :) what was your time? I hope I never have to run 10 miles

I'm 50. My pic is in my gallery. I'm about 20 pounds light in the pic from not being able to train.

Dude you dont look a day older than 40.

Im 35 and considering HRT, cant decide if I should wait till 40 or not. My g/f ( and hopefully future wife ) doesent like steroids because her brother did an assload of them when he was a competitive bodybuilder and has since let his body go to shit ( i.e. same weight, all fat now ). I hide my occasional AAS cycles from her. But I think she could get used to HRT, er hope she could.
