i dont think i everread the first thread where you said you were starting hrt or if there even was one...?

BUT:

1. what made you want to go on hrt?
2. at what point did you decide hrt was going to be your route?
3. do you have a scrip for it and doest your doctor check up on you regularily?
4. do you think you have a better quality of life, by keeping your test levels higher as you get older, despite the fact that everyone else is getting lower?

just a few questions i always wondered about and i figured some of the other board members would be interested as well...

1. what made you want to go on hrt?

I have naturally low test. When I went to see Dr Scruggs who ran a steroid clinic in Cal he gave me test/deca for 8 weeks. After the 8 weeks I asked him if I needed to do PCT and come off for 8 weeks. He said, why do you want to come off? I didn't have an answer. So I stayed on with him for a couple years and then just got used to it, and now I do it on my own.

2. at what point did you decide hrt was going to be your route?

See above

3. do you have a scrip for it and doest your doctor check up on you regularily?

Yes I do. I don't always use it but I have it. I check up on myself regularly.

4. do you think you have a better quality of life, by keeping your test levels higher as you get older, despite the fact that everyone else is getting lower?

Betchurass I do. I hadn't trained in over two months due to tearing my bicep tendon off and having it reattached. I hadn't done cardio in two years. I started doing cardio and did it for 4 weeks. I ran a 10k at Disney on Sunday and finished in the top half. Most people my age would have died trying that. I don't look or feel anywhere near my age and I attribute that to AS and GH. And Mom and Dad for giving me good genetics. :)

Ulter, I've been a patient of Dr. Scruggs since '99..........just spoke with him yesterday.........good to hear you've used him as well.

just wondering whether some of you guys (especially under 30) considering HRT actually have low natural test or whether you call a long low dose cycle "HRT". i'm also wondering exactly what that "low dose" is.

ulter, what's your dosage like?

Jesus...awesome thread.

You know, i'm only 30, and am by no means an expert on HRT, but whenever I read users ask about it, older men using AAS, I always refer them to read some of Ulter's old posts both here and at AF. I always wonder if they really do take the time to read it.

This post has been a long time coming. I've learned a lot from Ulter, but perhaps the biggest thing has been to prepare myself for later HRT use. Everybody thought Dan Duchaine was crazy when he stated "why come off" in a MM2K article. He was dead on in that comment. A smart AAS user can have a better, healthier life if they know what they are doing...which is definately not hard to do. Ulter is living proof.
