Ughh... hangover from just three drinks

Went out for the first time in ages last night, and only had a few drinks. I haven't touched a drink in ages, and obviously completely lost my alcohol tolerance. This sucks. Sympathy karma will be accepted.

LOL. just took a pre-employment drug test on Friday, so I guess this would be a good time to do it, but with my luck, they'd call me back for a re-test tomorrow. Don't have any MRP's laying around, so I guess Diet Coke and Advil will have to do.

Probably, but maybe not in the general allergy sense. In a drug class I had to take in college, they discussed the fact that Native Americans don't handle alcohol as well as other races, due to a lack of the alcohol dehydrogenase enzyme. But since I'm not N.A., I can't use that excuse.

I had a couple of those slushy-drinks from Fat Tuesdays. Then at another club I just had a gin-n-tonic.

Think thats bad, I saw a guy who drank not even half a cup of rum/cola and was knocked out. And he was stone sober when he started. And no, there was nothing else added in the drink.

neither do asians. i think it has to do with them missing a certain enzyme in their livers.

Ya I was at a bar with a couple friends and this one kid, an asian, came down with us. Needless to say after 4 drinks we went out to eat with this kids mom, moms weekend down there, and he was falling over in the parking lot and crap. He could not hold is liquor at all.

not alcohol per say....but to some of the chemicals in the sediment of undistilled booze like beer and wine....some people are allergic.

Asians and Native americans, Eskimos etc! Diet based! Until recent times they did not eat Wheat, Hops based food etc! Asians Rice, Native Americans maze, Eskimos lot's of fish whales etc in their diet! It can be scary for them! Seen to many asians try to drink hard alcohol and it dam near almost kills them!
