It was bad enough they let Anderson Silva in the door to take the tittle in his second fight... Now they brought in Rampage, the guy who made Chuck's corner throw in the towel in Japan...

Now they have CroCop LOL @ all the HW guys scratching their heads... The HW fighters in the UFC had it too easy for too long. Now its time to pay up...

I'm paying for the PayPerView tonight to support CroCop and Rampage... I want to see these guys keep fighting in the UFC.

Can't believe Silva's opponent didn't make weight, so now it won't be a title fight.

Will you post results tonight?

I agree Rick, it will definately increase the skill level. I doubt have of the current UFC will be able to advance once this happens..

Yeah?

I didn't hear that.

Thats some amateur shit right there. Shit, even wresting Varsity we HAD to make weight. Never mind getting paid to be a professional... Silva is stepping in there with nothing to lose. Now you'll really see him open up.

Without a belt on the line, I see the fight ending by KO with style. Silva will kill him with some flashy shit. Big Knee or a really big kick...

Damn I didn't know that shit was on tonight. I am stuck at home with the kids. Some one better post this shit on youtube :P

Hey Big Rick Rock, You are soo right man!!!!I just ordered to watch online. Its gonna be GREAT!!!! Cant wait to watch Rampage and Cro Cop in the UFC!!!!!

I just watched the Silva/ Leben fight. FUCK!!!Silva is a savage! Silva annihilated Leben like he was a bitch!! Leben looked like shit, dropping his hands before he threw a punch....loked like a rookie!!! ENJOY! I know I will!!!! :)

Jackson looked nervous and jumpy but he pulled thru just fine.
Nice little KO with inside uppercuts. Eastman was working the short elbows pretty good with his short arms, I think he was fishing for a cut (his only hope of winning)...

I'll just wait until it's on Youtube in about 2 hours.[/QU

Youtube will not carry it because the UFC has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit reference copyright violations. If you search thru some of my posts there is a site that will have it. I posted the Tito/Liddell fight last month.. Good Luck

Well, Eddie Sanchez lost as expected.
He need to do 3 things to have a chance at losing by decision, he only did 1. He circled away from Mirko's left side power, that was good.
He did not try to chase Mirko and get him stepping backwards, (which Mirko did do when Sanchez came forward) , that would have negated the Kicks but set him up for punches, still better than the kicks.
The last thing Sanchez did not do (but said he would in the interview) was use the cage, Mirko has never fought in a cage, Sanchez could have at least stalled a little by putting Mirko against the cage and taking advantage of his unfamiliarity with the cage game which is worlds away from fighting in a roped ring.

Sanchez did swing so I'll give him that. But I would have liked to see him go all out, its the best part about being the underdog. Nothing to lose.

The Silvia vs. Lutter fight just started with the intros.

I expect Lutter to get embarrassingly beaten. Nothing against the guy, I like him. But not making weight shows lack of commitment to the event and the fight in front of him.

Also,
losing only half a pound in 2hrs as a 185 pounder???? There are kids in high schools across the USA wrestling @ 119lbs who lose 3x that amount at practice the day before a match.

Unless Lutter had a serious reality check since the weight ins... I can't see him taking his heart into the ring with him.

After the first round.....

Whut the fuck is Lutter doing?????

Has the tools but not the heart!!

-BRR

In the first round Lutter realized that Silvia was but a mere mortal and could be taken down and mounted and pounded, but he had already left his heart in the locker room and didn't have a starch to take it to him.

In the second round, Lutter gave up the triangle chocke pretty sloppy, still, Silvia's long legs could not tie the noose tight enough to chocke him AND lutter had good position with his right hand to defend the chocke. Still Lutter didn't try to do anything from there, he even took away his protection by extending his arm and letting it get lost it under Silvia's body, plenty of daylight in that triangle, I seen guys who face turns purple before they tap out.. Not Lutter... I'm sorry to say it looked like Lutter just gave up.

damn...

thanks! I'd give you k, but I'm shooting blanks.

Lutter was done before he even got in the ring. cutting that much weight and 2 hours in the sauna to try and lose those last couple pounds left him exhausted. What a big mistake! How could a pro not make weight with all that time to prepare??

Rampage is the man!

Cro cop is a savage!

Silva is dangerous!

Great lightweight battle!

i didnt think anderson was very impressive. he showed no takedown defense and i cringe at the thought of what might have been if lutter wasnt exhausted and had better ground n pound.

Bullshit about Lutter being exhausted and dehydrated. All bullshit.

-This is Lutters weight class, the one he fought in the reality show. The 185lbs weight class is his home, no excuses.
-He has made this weight over and over again. He is not a growing young fighter, he is a man set in his body frame. It was just lack of preparedness.
-The weigh ins are the day before the fight. He had 24hrs to rehydrate, Lutter had plenty of time to recover.

I think the guy is a great fighter, who just went thru some time of personal doubt and threw it all away. I think he'll be back, but will have to put in his time in smaller shows for a LONG while before the UFC gives him a chance again. He is a talented fighter, I'm sure he'll come back.

dude a week before the weight ins lutter was 215. hes a moron. he didnt attempt to diet down sooner and tried to cut so much weight soo fast. ive been in bjj tourneys where i cut 10lbs in 24hrs, trust me im not 100 percent the next day because of that. one of my friends just had an amature fight which required him to cut 20 lbs in 24hrs on top of the 10lbs he had already cut over the span of the week (it was his first fight and he took it wrecklessly at 155 even tho he walks at 185). 24hrs after the weight ins during the fight, 2nd round his gas tank was gone. only thru sheer willpower did he managed to finish the fight. its not about the weight number its how fast you make that weight. it takes a huge toll on your body.

It sure as hell does. Anyone that says it doesnt, is stupid. Lutter was sitting in a sauna for two plus hours trying to lose the last pound and a half!!! That alone will leave you feeling drained. Randy Couture himself said a day is not enough time to properly re-hydrate from that huge of a weight cut. But hey ,what does Randy know??? Anyone with any fight or athletic experience would know that much of a weight cut destroys your endurance abd strength.

Lutter is a jackass for fucking up so bad. He totally disrespected the entire UFC. But he did better against Silva than Leben and Franklin.

Lutter is a good fighter, but I think he even said it in an Ultimate Fighter episode...he just doesn't care that much, he's not as motivated as some of these other guys. he takes it all with a grain of salt.

You can't be a professional fighter and not care. You just can't... You'll get wrecked and embarrassed...

The fight game won't let you take it with a grain of salt... A bag or Epson Salt, yes you can use it after you take a beating... But never with a grain of salt.
