Firstrow was shutdown along w/ several other sites this week I think I'm the only person also looking forward to the roy nelso/werdum fight. Werdum's only losses in the last few years are against jds and overeem...not bad

It was a great fight. Dude, u could hit nelson w/ a bat and he'd keep coming at u. Werdum looked great. If he stays focused he will definitely be in a title fight. Now we get to watch diaz pick apart condit for 5 rds w/ his awkward ass punches in bunches style.

He was sayin ufc is full of shit I should hav won I threw th harder punches n was always stepin forward n all he was doin was giving me baby kicks n for that reason he is not fighting in ufc again, big country is a beast th man is like terminator he jus won't giv up,

Dude Carlos ran for 3 quarters of the fight.I believe Carlos won because he played it smart he sticked and moved.He landed more shots but when have you ever seen Carlos fight like that.I don't think you should let nick throw a 10 punch combo against the cage but the dude did atleast 6 to 7 sprints off the cage to get away from him not a shuffle a short sprint.If nick could dam wrestle he would have submitted him he can't get anyone to the ground.He didn't come after nick like he said he was he walked out like he was going to whip some ass and didn't do shit besides kick the shit out of his leg and run.

What would you do in his shoes stand toe toe with someone who is capable of throwing 400 punches a fight and not be tired. No that would be stupid i thought he had a good game plan that kept nick frustrated.

If he fought gsp he would just be laying on his back the entire fight

I didn't say stand there and take 400 punches but he fought not like himself he played the point game which is fine it's judged on points but don't say it's going to be a dog fight and you are a warrior and kick and run.He knew Diaz would out box him and if it went to the ground he would probably get submitted.Diaz brings it everytime throws caution to the wind and fights this is what the fans want to pay 50 dollars for not a guy who talks a bunch of shit and run for 25 min.Diaz won't be coming forward if your whipping his ass.

I used to not like Diaz thought he was dumber than shit talked alot of crap and always wanted to see him get his ass whipped.I grew to like the guy because he scraps man he fights dangerous strikers at there own game and wins.Carlos usually brings it but if you want to edge fights out on points so be it.This is what st Pierre has done for 3 years.Everybody goes 5 rounds with him.I believe Diaz is the most exciting fighter at 170.I think he has holes though he can't wrestle and weaker than shit.Him and his brother get thrown around like rag dolls.If he can improve those areas he will be champion.
 
Uve got a point, I've never seen condit back pedal before like that but he came in w/ a good game plan, stuck to it and won. Diaz is a great fighter but still an immature thug. He has no concept of how to behave like a profesional. He doesnt want to fight in the ufc again bc he doesn't like to lose..

And damn, roy has a block of concrete for. Head. How hecould take those knes and keep coming is insane. Even jds couldn't knock him out. Funny enough the only person I can recall who tko'd him was arvlovski 4 yrs ago.

I don't believe condit was running just avoiding getting caught with his back on the cage...he out struck Diaz and won a decision a couple of those combos could have put Diaz to sleep so I don't think he was trying to win by points...and as far as all the talk they do that to hype the fight sometimes it's not as good as they say but I still enjoyed the fight

Nick Diaz fights like it's a street fight it's fun to watch but anyone that can wrestle or has a good game plan will beat him I think he's overrated...really besides beating bj what has he done
 
The Diaz brothers are way underrated as fighters. They are some of the most accurate strikers in the game, they strike in numbers and slowely end fights...just because they don't necessarily have knock out power, doesnt mean they are not great fighters...

Diaz won that fight, plain and simple....any fighter than "runs away" loses my respect...avoiding his punshes? fuckin block, move your head, go in and out, dance around him...dont fuckin run away like an idiot...

when's the last time Diaz lost? enough said...
