U.S. General Released from duty

All I can think is that he could have released informatioin to the media that would have breached the UCMJ orspoke against some decision of the government.

It was a Marine Col. my man...They haven't said a thing about this, and it's the first time this has happened in combat in around 30 years or so....

Could be any number of things......All of which are not good I would venture.

I know, I was watching it on cnn. It was quite disturbing, especially when I heard it was one of my Marines

It happened in Desert Storm when they replaced the general in charge with Schwarzkopf.

Most likely it would be for something like wreckless command, or failure to follow orders. He probably blew up a mosk that had enemy in it that was killing his Marines and he just had enough of the bullshit.
