You think I could stain it or would I get the remotes all messed up? I should have done that before I mounted the remotes on there. That's probably the ONLY mistake I made when building this.

To set the record straight... The second remote from the right does what all the other remotes can do together. It controls all the components in my system. The pic was just a joke. I don't even have wood furniture, let alone that 2x4 in my Living Room.

Yes I am a channel flipper (except I don't have cable at my place) when I watch tv. I have four remotes to operate everything although I really only need two of them. I even have the exact same JVC remote as gonelifting.

As for duct tape I rarely use it, I prefer to fix/repair things instead of ghetto rig them. And yes there is a brand Duck Tape but it is still DUCT TAPE. My bro is the ultimate duct tape fixer he tries to fix everything with it. I guess that's why he is an artist and I can get by doing mechanical stuff.

Actually Duck was the first name for that style tape.
