There are wind corridors in the continental U.S that would represent near constant power supply. And the answer to solar power generation is obviously an improvement in PV array efficiency.

The weather system/wind have been on earth for a few billion years.

The only reason to use uranium/plutonium powered nuclear power plants is to make fissile material for nuclear weapons.

A thorium nuclear power plant would be cheaper, cleaner and better at producing power.

Therer is no thorium power plant anywhere in the world, everybody wants to at least have the ability to make bombs.

When the decomissioning costs and waste storage costs of plutonium/uranium power plants are considered it is by far the most expensive way to produce energy.

I'm familiar with the enviro-fascist propaganda and the campaign waged by minister Al Goebbels...

A couple years ago I posted a policy document from the DOE detailing a cost effective means of reprocessing nuclear fuel using the French model.

T. Boone Pickens, the billionaire that has spent millions promoting wind power, has removed it from his "Pickens Plan", as not economically feasible even though billions are being spent in government subsidies.

I'm also familiar with attempts at using solar mirrors that heat crude oil, ironic, to create energy after the sun stops shining and it hasn't been able to produce appreciable energy for eight hours after the sun sets. An electric grid needs to respond quickly to energy demands, something like 20% of plants in the United States are on standby power producing mode at any one time.

The last time I checked, nuclear is about twice as expensive as coal while wind and solar are five and six times as expensive as coal, respectively.
