Truth or Lie, which is this

OK Truth or Lie

A potential renter for a house my family member owns says:

"My credit is good but I'm working with an attorney to fix a problem I had with identity theft and he would strongly prefer if you did not run a credit check on me please."

Truth or Lie, I know what I think.

Also even if it is true would that affect remediation of identity theft?

LOL

big fat LIE!

While there is some element of truth to it (I actually had my wallet stolen, and looked into id theft), I would simply say "look buddy, no credit check, no roofy!"

Stick with the credit check. Dump him, or get a huge fukin deposit.

If he whines about it, then he's definately lyin his ass off and WILL fuck you over.

Alternately you could just say "I can run a credit check, or you can suck my dick. Your choice."

Ask to speak to the attorney.

It may look fishy, but sometimes the credit score can be negatively effected by too many credit checks, so this at least has the inkling of a possibility of not being a lie. Possibly.

Lie, I had renter say something similar , I ran it she had 3 landlords looking to collect on her ass, she called me naxt day asking , well when can i move in? I laughed

Me too, my friend got his identity stolen and because of all the credit cards the other guy tried to take out he had tons of credit checks, after a certain number it does negatively effect your credit. Although if you can prove which checks were made from the ID theft problems they get removed.

I've heard of the ID theft thing. Friend of a friend's nieces BF sort of thing. Could be true, but Lawyer or cop should be able to clear it up.
