TRT cypionate troubles

I'm new to the forum so do don't bang on me too hard.
I was diagnosed with idiopathic hypogonadism 2 yrs ago. Doc RX'ed me 150 mg test cypionate weekly. Since I've started taking it I basically feel terrible. Nauseated half the time and a general feeling of being unwell. I work through it at the gym and in life, but am curious if anyone has heard of this or experienced it at what I consider to be relatively small doses.

I've obviously discussed this with my doc, and they've checked estrogen, thyroid, cortisol, other hormone levels, etc, and they really don't have any answers for me.

I'm on testosterone cypionate for hypogonadism also..
I feel fine on it..

But perhaps you should try these solutions:
1- Check your blood-testosterone and free testosterone 1 week after your injection (just before your next shot) See if either is too low..

2- If your levels are fine, try a different ester.. you may try androgel at 5-10g a day.. or Testosterone propionate. Or perhaps Testosterone undecanoate..

What was your total blood testosterone before your treatment?
How old are you?

This can happen. Trick is to find the ester or brand that agrees with you. Or switch to a bio-identical topical. I had no trouble with sust and test p pharm grade.

It was ridiculously low. Total T was 39 and I was 37 years old. Had an MRI to rule out pituitary adenoma. I got my T up nicely up into the "upper normal" range, but I still felt awful.

lion - I discussed changing esters with my endo. He was flexible with dosages, but didn't have much to say about changing esters. He implied limitations on what was available.

That is bullshit, there are tons of esters available.. If all else fails, go transdermal like Androgel or Androderm..

But other injections are available...

Maybe your ( upper normal ) level is not enough? These ranges are only a basic marker for the doctors to go by. How did you feel before doing the cypionate? Really the only difference in testosterones are the salt esters ( ie acetate, enathate cypionate) which determine how quickly you absorb the hormone.
