Triple Drop Set

Just thought I would throw this out there for anybody that was enterested in tring something new.

It is called a Triple Drop Set:
Start by getting warmed up good. I usally perform them at the end of my workout

First Set:
1 set of 4 reps
1 set of 8 to 10 reps
1 set of 12 to 15 reps
End Set.

During this you will have to drop weight for each set and there is to be no rest during the Set.

Creates a great pump and you will love it.

Very easy to do on machines or dumbbells so you don't waste time changing weights.

So let me get this straight: you pick a weight that you can do for 4 reps, then drop down to a weight you can do for 8-10, and so on?

Yeah exactly and besides drop sets arent really a NEW thing. BB'ers and weight trainers have been doing them for yrs. They are a good way to shock muscles into growth. But i have a problem with his rep range. Its very hard to accurately pick a weight that can be done the number of reps he posted for each drop set. I'll go 2,3, or 4 drop sets and get a different number of reps for each. Such as on my first drop set i may get 6reps. On the second drop set i may get 5 and so on.. but the premise is the same and im glad he figured this out.

ya, i could see if it was spelled onterested ot unterested, but 'e' is on the other side of the keyboard... not a typo :rolleyes:

I've always kept my drop sets in the same rep range, never thought of doing it like this. Give the guy a break he was just sharing

i like reps of 6 for rop sets, sometimes 8. i know a guy who does 10 reps and 5 sets. i dont think its that productive.

Not flaming, Bro, just disagreeing, There's a difference. And did you read my last statement? It was positive!!!!
 
Towards everyone! LOL, j/p. Nah, I just found it interesting because I never thought of doing them this way. Will it make a difference, prolly not, but variety is always good.
 
just threw it out there as a different thing for someone to try.

But I see the oak84 is doing fine. I remember when I was 18 and I looked like that. Thank all the doctors out there for AAS. I might still be that small if it was not for them.
