Trip #2 to Mexico Friday....Need info

I am making my second trip to Mexico this Friday(hopefully). Last time I went to Nuevo Laredo and got raped on some of the gear that I picked up. Do any of yall know of a better town near the Texas border that will have lower prices? Keep in mind that I am by Houston. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

seems like i remember reading a post about Reynosa down by Matamoras might do a seach on that

I've never had any probs in Nuevo Laredo, but alot of peeps are recommending Reynosa these days.
Villa Acuna was alright also - not much of a selection though.
