This is a case where I'd say yes. At 6'1'', if you are 412 pounds, than I'd say you'd have to be on obscene amounts of gear, eating obscene amounts of calories year round'. That just can't be good for your health.

Blood pressure. Associated with being 6-1 412. Most likely he used a lot of steroids that caused water retention and further exacerbated the problem.

He was a pretty fit guy though, he apparently was a very talented in martial arts, and was a sensei at a karate school...the guy is an inspiration.
